The front center channel gets 20 watts RMS and each of the others gets 8 watts RMS. Similarly, a special stand allows you to adjust the angle of the center channel. You'll find small stands on which you can mount the satellites for a different angle. The satellites have angled bottoms and they naturally sit pitched a good bit upward by themselves. The system consists of six identical satellites, a sub woofer, and a wired remote control. In terms of design, the Inspires are pretty no nonsense. These problems would be much more off-putting if not for the fantastic price. They perform acceptable well in some areas, but a few serious sonic problems blemish the overall package. However, if you're picky about sound the speakers might disappoint you. At a hair under $100.00 they offer tremendous value. If you are looking to jump to 6.1 but have a limited bankroll, then the Inspires deserve an audition. The Inspire 6.1 6600 speakers are not perfect speakers but they do a few things extremely well and are priced very competitively. If you are considering an Audigy 2 then be sure to check out some of the attractive bundles with the MegaWorks. (High-end equipment might be fun to drool over but much more money is made on "entry level" rigs.) Creative continues to push 6.1 very aggressively. They were in fact launched before the MegaWorks, which was smart on the company's part. These conditions made it smart for Creative to release the Inspire 6.1 6600 speakers as quickly as possible.
